Day Walks

Our 'Encounter' range of guided day walks have been designed for people with limited time, or those who would rather walk for just a single day. We offer the Milford Track Encounter from Te Anau, the Routeburn Track Encounter from Queenstown and the Mount Cook Encounter from Mount Cook Village. These are an informative and easy way to sample the magic of the New Zealand wilderness.

We provide everything from transport, food, hot drinks, free loan of day packs and rain jackets, sunscreen and insect repellent to an emergency radio system for complete safety.

All you need is walking boots or shoes, a bottle of water, warm clothing and your camera! As you walk your guide will share their knowledge of the unique flora, fauna, history and geography of the region. To get maximum enjoyment from your day everyone is encouraged to walk at their own pace.
