Pre walk registration

You will need to complete your pre-walk registration prior to departure so please make sure you come early and check in at the desk on the day of your departure.

Please meet us at the Ultimate Hikes Centre in Queenstown at 9.15am on the day of your departure.

If you are departing from Te Anau, please meet us at The Alpine Centre cafe, cnr Sandy Brown Road and Highway 94 at 11.30am.

What do I need to bring?

Bring personal clothing, a daypack, and trail essentials. We provide meals, bedding, gear, and guidance - so you can enjoy the walk, not carry it all.

What are the tracks like?

The Milford and Routeburn Tracks are a mixture of forest tracks and alpine trails. As a hike they are neither easy nor difficult to traverse but they can be challenging in places. Our guides help you navigate every part safely and confidently.
