Shared and private rooms
The Routeburn and Milford Track guided walks include an option of shared or private rooms
Private Rooms
Private rooms on Track have one queen bed or two king single beds. All linen is provided. Each room has an ensuite bathroom with a flushing toilet and a shower. Towels, facecloths, shampoo & conditioner and body wash are all provided.
Shared rooms - Routeburn Track
Shared rooms have 4 four single beds in each. Duvets and pillows are provided and a sleep sheet will be supplied or you are welcome to bring your own. Bathrooms are shared and located separately. They all have flushing toilets and shower cubicles. Towels, Shampoo & conditioner and body wash are provided.
Shared rooms - Milford Track
Shared rooms have four bunk style beds in each. Some rooms have 6 beds. Duvets and pillows are provided and a sleepsheet will be supplied, or you are welcome to bring your own. Bathrooms are shared and located separately - they all have flushing toilets and shower cubicles. Towels, Shampoo & conditioner and body wash are provided.
Greenstone Track Lodges
Steele Creek and McKellar Lodges on the Greenstone Track don't have private rooms. Steele Creek has dormitory type rooms with bunks. McKellar Lodge has rooms for up to 4 people in bunks. Sleepsheets must be carried on the Greenstone section.
Mitre Peak Lodge
Mitre Peak Lodge is located at Milford Sound and is the last lodge on the Milford Track Guided Walk. Originally a hotel it has a fabulous view of Mitre Peak. Each room has a queen or two twin beds with an ensuite bathroom - that actually has a bath!
